Pangerang is here to stay but at the end of 2025, our childcare program CLOSED.

For over 30 years, childcare has been at the heart of Pangerang. It began as a way to support young mums to have respite, learn new skills, and build brighter futures.

Over the years it has grown with our community, supporting countless children and families.

But as times have changed, so have community needs, and with rising regulations and costs, it’s no longer possible for us to sustain our childcare program.

With sadness, we share that this chapter is coming to an end.

We know this program has meant so much to so many, and we will be bringing past and present families together later this year to celebrate the memories and friendships made.

While this chapter is closing, we are also looking ahead with excitement. Pangerang remains deeply committed to community development, support, and connection. We’ll continue our programs, advocacy and activities.

We’d love to hear from our community about what you’d like to see in Pangerang’s future. Together, we can shape the next chapter of our story.
